Musings and Events of July

I really didn't feel all that creative on posting a title, in fact, I just don't feel creative in my writing as of this day. So I will contribute enough to suffice, as I use these as a reminder to myself of what I was doing at the said time.

Samuel and I went to a 311/Offspring concert in SLC, we were on the front row in the pit for 311, it was amazing. It helped to have a 6'9, 300lb dude standing next to us that no one else felt like messing with, and left us alone in collusion with said behemoth. The Offspring were cool to watch, they looked like they left their job at the car wash to come and perform a concert, but appearance aside, they put on a great show and made me remember how freaking cool they are.

Lexah had some minor surgery to cut out a cystic growth on her leg, she's a tough little girl. I'm sure Avery would cry for weeks on end if something like that happened to him, but they balance each other out nicely, as he's sensitive and soft, she's tough and strong.

This is our one-eyed cat, Buford "MadCat" Tannon. I made a picture caption to portray the significance of what Biff (aka Buford) was thinking.

Other than that, things have been relatively boring for our little family, which is good. I work, Melissa works, and the dogs run around like idiots. Boring is good. I found a quote I really like from one of my favorite bands, Sparta...

"More than lights expose who you are." - Jim Ward
