We went to Pocatello today to watch Samuel play soccer against American Falls, it was a play-in game for going to the state tournament, and Samuel's team won 3-0! They all played well and it was actually a perfect day to be out and enjoying what I'm sure will be one of the last days of summer.
He's in blue, number 16. Yep, he's pretty damn fast.
We took the ding-dongs with us, and Lexah was actually well behaved on the way down and slept most of the way. We took them into the game and anytime one of the players would run by she'd growl and try to attack them... it was funny. Avery was bored and just flopped around on the ground, and towards the end of the game, the ball got kicked over to Melissa. One of the high school kids watching came running over to get the ball and I guess he surprised Aves and Lexah, as they both angrily tried to take him out... I think he was more scared of them than they were of him as they came running out from behind an umbrella to make him scream like a fat little girl at the Bon Bon factory. Wish I had film of that.
As you can see, Lexah is a little camera shy... She thinks it's going to take her little doggie soul. Anyway, it was a fun day to get out of Rexburg with the whole family, Grandma and Grandpa Frost even came. I guess this is what weekends are for when you don't have to work, I'll try not to get used to it as I know I wont have these so called "weekends" for some time to come. The only negative to come out of it all is that Lexah has an earache now, but I'm sure that's great news for the vet. At least I get the satisfaction of knowing that while she's at the vet, she'll try her hardest to bite him til they figure out they have to put the cat muzzle on her... Make them earn their check, this is for sure.
